Commercial thimbles are the lowest quality and cheapest thimbles that we sell. They are equivalent to what you find on most other websites and many marine supplies stores. Commercial thimbles should be used where aesthetics are not a priority and where the load on the rope will not exceed 20% of the breaking strength of the rope.
